Palolo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center part of Palolo Chinese Home is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aide to provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. The Certified Nurse Aide will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patients’ vital signs, and ensure a safe, clean environment for patients.

$21.00 – $25.00 per hour – based on experience and skillset

• Successful completion of a state‑approved Certified Nurse Aide training program
• Current Hawaii certification as a Certified Nurse Aide
• Current CPR & First Aid certification
• 2 step TB clearance
• Criminal Background Check, Fingerprinting, and Drug Screen Clearance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and feeding
• Take and record patients’ vital signs
  
  Assist nurses with medical procedures as needed
• Ensure patients’ rooms are clean and organized
• Follow established treatment plans to help patients reach their healthcare goals
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Document care provided and report any changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing staff

• Day Shift 6:00am – 2:30pm;
• Evening Shift 2:00pm – 10:30pm;
• Overnight Shift 10:00pm – 6:30am.
• May be asked to work other than above shift as resident care and staff training requires.
