JOB SUMMARY: Under the Supervision of the IMH and Family Services Coordinator and in collaboration with IMH/Family Therapists the IMH Interventionist/Family Coach will provide support, interaction and brief interventions for infants/mothers and their families in a residential treatment program. The IMH Interventionist/Family Coach will directly support observations, assessments, goal tracking, child development and family visitation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Regular attendance is required for this position, work hours may be flexible
- Supports IMH team with observations, assessments and brief interventions
- Participates regularly in Reflective Supervision and Consultation
- Provides intermittent small group childcare/playgroups
- Supports documentation and updates to service plans, child development tracking and goal strategies
- Participates in treatment and team meetings as needed
- Manages/inventories supplies, donations and “lending” closet for parent/child items, completes building inspections, minor data collections
