Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) – Home Health

Pay Range
$22.30 – $24.30 per hour

Arcadia Home Health – Located in Honolulu, HI.
Responsibilities- Answers call lights to determine residents’ or clients’ needs (Communities and Day Care only).
- Assists residents, clients, or members with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, eating, feeding, dressing, oral hygiene, and grooming.
- Assists with toileting and provides appropriate peri‑care for incontinent residents, clients, or members.
- Assists residents, clients, or members to turn, reposition, and transfer, using a two‑person assist or lift machine in accordance with the care plan.
- Transports residents, clients, or members with ambulation to and from their room to appropriate areas for activities and meals.
- Takes and records the resident’s, clients or members’ ADLs, vitals, intake and output, transfers, mood/behaviors, pain level assessment, and issues supplies as needed.
- Provides companion services according to the care plan.
- Observes and reports to licensed staff all changes in condition, behavior, or whereabouts that may require intervention.
- Monitors and supervises residents, clients, and members as assigned.
- Records all chargeable time provided by Arcadia Family of Companies (AFC).
- Works in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team to ensure resident assessments are completed according to corporate, federal, and state regulations and safety guidelines.
- Adheres to assigned work schedules and accurately uses the time and attendance system.
- Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement and/or Quality Assurance Programs.
- Interacts with residents, clients, and members in accordance with AFC’s mission, core values, mindsets and guideposts.
- Exercises caution and good safety judgment in uncertain conditions or situations, and reports or corrects hazards.
- Ensures that all residents’, clients’, and members’ rights and privacy are protected and enforced.
- Attends mandatory in‑service programs and complies with annual employee health screening.
- Participates and assists during emergency drills and situations such as fire, alarms, hurricanes, and other possible emergencies as outlined in the Disaster Response Playbook and/or the AHHS disaster policy.
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current State of Hawaii Certified Nurse Aide certificate and current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Proficiency in using a computer and applicable software such as Vision, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Physical Demands:
Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. - Work Environment:
May be exposed to air‑conditioned office environment, indoors without air conditioning, outdoors—any type of weather, and hazardous materials.
Full‑time (40 hours per week) or Part‑time (20–29 hours per week) with flexible shifts available.
