Duties
* You will coordinate and administer Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPI) requirements for all command personnel in accordance with local mandates and higher directives.
* You will provide the development, management, and administration of drafts, reviews, and updates as required of the command's NNPI instruction and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance relating to the NNPI Program
* You will serve as an advisor on security measures for the development, planning and implementation of the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and IMF Security Program as it pertains to the NNPI programs.
* You will formulate and recommend contingency plans, policies and procedures to initiate action based on indicated or anticipated need and provide recommendations, advice and assistance to the Director of Security on NNPI problems.
* You will review, coordinate and provide professional input to the instructions and provides evaluation and problem resolution on conflicting standards and methods from the standpoint of economy, safety, and engineering feasibility.
* You will plan, schedule, coordinate, execute and monitor all efforts necessary to effect compliance with NNPI regulatory requirements established by higher headquarters and governing agencies. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
* Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Security Fundamentals Professional certification. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, developing, and implementing policies, procedures, and processes relating to Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPI) and Nuclear Power classification guidelines as well as familiarity with various nuclear related spaces such as Controlled Nuclear Information Areas (CNIA), Nuclear Work Areas (NWA), and Controlled Access Areas (CAA) and the rules and regulations relating to them.
