Recruitment is part of the Operation Hire Hawaii (OH-HI) project, a targeted outreach initiative featuring an expedited hiring process and fast‑tracing qualified applicants into job opportunities throughout Hawai‘i.

SalaryAuditor I: $4,243 per month (SR‑16, Step
D)
Auditor II: $4,590 per month (SR‑18, Step
D)
Professional auditing work covered by examining accounts for the purpose of rendering an opinion regarding the financial position and operations of governmental agencies, individuals and business entities being examined.
Level IPosition receives training and assists in a trainee capacity in activities pertaining to professional auditing; performs other duties as required.
Level IIPosition is an advanced trainee, performs a variety of assignments ranging from the simple to moderately difficult which do not require the services of a fully trained auditor; performs other duties as required.
Applicants will be placed on the eligible list for all levels for which they are qualified.
Qualifications- Legal Authorization to Work:
Citizens, nationals, permanent resident aliens, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the US. - Basic
Education:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited four‑year college or university with at least twelve semester credit hours in accounting and/or auditing subjects. - Specialized
Experience:
None for Level I; one year of progressively responsible professional auditing experience for Level II.
Some positions require possession of a valid driver's license at the time of appointment. The immediate vacancy requires a valid driver’s license.
