Overview
Position Function: Provide professional investment and life insurance advice including comprehensive financial planning to Branch Partners, wealth management, commercial and small business markets; developing new business relationships in those markets; and enhancing the Central Pacific's employees' overall knowledge of these products in accordance with the bank's strategic business plans.
Salary range: Wealth Advisor I: $35,568 + commission
Wealth Advisor II: $48,000 + commission

Primary AccountabilitiesTeam Focused Leadership
- Participate in Bank sponsored internal/external events.
- Participate in Bank sponsored focus groups, initiatives, campaigns (lead or actively participate).
Financial Results and Efficiencies
- Production:
Achieve budgeted amount of fee income based upon territory size, number of years of experience, and industry averages. - Help business partners achieve their Investment Service fee income goals.
- Budget Goals:
Help maintain expenses within approved budgets and support WA’s towards fee income goals. - Efficiency:
Complete required and requested reports on time and accurately.
Relationship Banking
- Actively seek opportunities to help prospects and customers and strengthen relationships through introductions and referrals to Wealth Management, Commercial & Consumer Divisions.
- Demonstrate the Bank’s core values by recognizing and being recognized by internal/external clients.
- Maintain internal service standards.
Risk Management/Compliance
- Responsible for following internal procedures to achieve satisfactory internal, LPL, FDIC audits.
- Comply in a timely manner with all compliance requests.
- Keep abreast of regulatory and industry developments.
- Adhere to Bank policies and procedures.
Personal/Professional Development
- Attend required and elective training and workshops.
- Participate in a non-profit organization
- Participate in professional group/organization.
- Obtain industry designations to broaden product/service skillset for financial planning, insurance, and fee-based platforms.
Education
Wealth Advisor I/II:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year university in Business or equivalent knowledge preferred.
Experience
Wealth Advisor I:
- 2+ years of experience in sales and delivery of financial planning, personal investment, and insurance products required.
- Experience in financial institution preferred.
Wealth Advisor II:
- 3+ years of experience in sales and delivery of financial planning, personal investment, and insurance products required.
- Experience in financial institution preferred.
License/Certification
Wealth Advisor I/II:
- Insurance and securities licenses required.
- State of Hawaii Life, Health, and Disability Insurance license required.
- Producer (Agent Preferred) License required.
- Fully Licensed in FINRA including Series 7, 63, 65, or 66 required.
- Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
- Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
- Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
- Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
- Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
