Dispute Specialist

TEKsystems is partnering with one of our local banks on this island to hire a Dispute Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for processing Mastercard, Zelle, and dispute claims, ensuring all actions adhere to required regulatory time frames. The ideal candidate is analytical, customer-focused, and able to thrive under pressure while managing multiple deadlines. • Process Mastercard, Zelle, and ACH dispute claims accurately and efficiently
• Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with regulatory time frames
• Correspond with customers, internal departments, and other financial institutions
• Conduct research and documentation to support dispute resolution
• Utilize 10-key, typing, and typewriter-by-touch skills (as applicable)
• Perform data entry and maintain organized records
• Handle customer calls with professionalism and clarity
• Support the team with additional tasks as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, dispute resolution, or card services
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
• Proficiency with MS Office
• 10-key calculator proficiency and typing skills
• Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
