$42,000.00/yr – $48,000.00/yr

Consistently provides an atmosphere of high‑quality member service, supports credit union sales efforts, and performs transactions for members regarding all share and loan products and services. Consults with members and provides solutions tailored to their needs.
Essential Functions- Promote credit union products and services based on member needs and maintain current knowledge of all services and policies.
- Accurately and efficiently process transactions and service requests.
- Handle and reconcile all cash/negotiable instruments and end‑of‑day balancing.
- Assist members with account applications, wire transactions, account closures, and disputes.
- Process new account information, ensuring compliance with Customer Information Program (CIP) and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide loan applications and information to members; analyze and process consumer loan applications, including credit reports and underwriting tasks.
- Explain loan status, reasons for denial, and possible alternatives to members.
- Ensure accurate documentation and secure handling of member information.
- Enforce security procedures and address discrepancies or complaints, making necessary corrections.
- Participate in marketing campaigns and promotions to communicate with members and prospects.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Deliver excellent member service internally and externally.
- Achieve new accounts and loan production volumes as determined.
- Comply with all rules, regulations, and procedures related to member accounts, loans, and IRA information.
- Perform work with accuracy and completeness.
- Display timeliness in project management.
- Demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment, representing the credit union positively.
- Act as a trusted source of clear and accurate information to members.
- Education/Certification: High school diploma, GED, college degree, or equivalent work experience required.
- Required Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office Suite; thorough knowledge of member services and products; knowledge of loan services, policies, and procedures; understanding of lending standards and documentation; knowledge of consumer lending practices.
- Experience
Required:
2–3 years in branch operations with loan and account processing; 2–3 years customer service experience; 1–2 years sales experience (credit union industry experience a plus). - Skills/Abilities: Multi‑task, work under pressure, meet deadlines; excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to prioritize workload; analytical, creative, and problem‑solving skills; work independently and make sound decisions.
