Senior Network Engineer

A Federal client of Insight Global is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate would have 10+ years of Networking experience and ab in-depth understanding of advanced networking O&M concepts and processes and experience applying these with little to no guidance. Day to day for this role will include leading and supporting network engineering operations, configuring and securing multivendor networks, applying DoD STIGs/IAVAs, managing PKI and cross-domain solutions, development of scripts, documentation, and providing training while serving as an escalation point for complex issues.

Active Top Secret Clearence required. This role is a 6-month contract to hire in Honolulu, HI.

Required Skills:

• 10 or more years of experience in Network engineering. Must have an in-depth understanding of advanced networking O&Mconcepts and processes and experience applying these with little to no guidance.
• Bachelors of Master Degree reqired- MA/MS= 10 years; BS=12 years.
• Top Secret OR Higher OR Secret Clearance level with completed T5 investigation.
• Familiarity with remotesc Networking Sites.
• Must have experience with one or more networking vendors:
  Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, etc.
• Experience configuring/managing PKI Certificate Authorities.
• Must be proficient in multivendor networking environments in configuring firewalls, Intrusion Prevention/Detection systems, VPN gateways, routers, and switches (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Cisco ASA, etc.) .
• Be able to develop and modify system scripts (powershell, Python, Etc).
• Ability to create IPSec tunnels.
• Ability to apply DoD STIGs and IAVAs.
• Familiarity with Certificate Authority configuration (ISC Cert Agent/MS Windows Server/Red Hat Certificate systems).
