Basic Qualifications
- Must possess a minimum of 3 years electrical/avionics experience on tactical/fighter aircraft.
- Able to follow applicable technical direction and read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
- Must have been previously awarded an Air Force, Navy, USMC 5 to 9 skill level or equivalent civilian experience with associated credential.
You will be the Electrical/Avionics Technician, F-22-Level 4 for the team which is responsible for maintaining and advancing the electrical and avionics systems of F‑22 aircraft. This position is located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam AFB, Hawaii.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Electrical/Avionics Technician, F-22-Level 4 you will be responsible for ensuring mission‑critical readiness of F‑22 electrical and avionics systems while collaborating with a dedicated maintenance team.
Your Responsibilities Will Include- Service, repair, troubleshoot, and overhaul F‑22 aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
- Interpret engineering drawings to remove, reroute, and install aircraft harnesses.
- Repair, replace, and rebuild components using AR dispositions and drawings for routine maintenance, modifications, and upgrades.
- Complete required on‑the‑job training to meet contractual standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, FOD‑free work environment while adapting to flexible shift schedules.

Further Information About This OpportunityMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Candidate must have the ability to work multiple shifts. The selected candidate must possess an interim Secret clearance prior to start with the ability to obtain a final secret clearance.
Physical RequirementsThis position may include certain required health screenings and immunizations. Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.
Desired Skills- Previous US fighter aircraft experience or similar aircraft electrical/avionics experience.
- TCTO, Modification, Upgrade, Overhaul experience.
- Experience with disassembly and running new wire harnesses, performing wire splices, fiber optic cleaning/installation, etc.
- Working knowledge of such programs as Hazardous Waste Management, Safety, Training, FOD, Security, supply chain Management, Time Accounting.
