As a Civil Engineer in our Honolulu office, you’ll join our team providing our clients with award‑winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design‑build project delivery. You’ll be guiding and developing civil design for a variety of projects, including high‑rise, healthcare, institutional, and Department of War projects.

You’ll be accountable for the ongoing progress of a project task or segment, including the coordination of the project with City, County, and State officials, federal and other outside agencies. You’ll use your problem‑solving skills to resolve a variety of complex problems, such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.

You’ll also have the chance to utilize your technical expertise mentoring junior team members to help your team discover what drives them, guiding their purpose and guiding them forward.

Here’s what you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a civil engineering emphasis
  • At least 10 years of experience in civil engineering in construction building
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • Experience working in a multi‑discipline project team
  • Construction foundation services for building projects
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Master’s degree in civil engineering
  • Experience with healthcare, institutional, and commercial buildings
  • Experience with InRoads and Project Wise
  • Experience developing and modeling 3‑D design surfaces
  • Experience working with Micro Station
  • Ability to coordinate all phases of a project

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
