Voice Over IP Network Senior Engineer
to join our team!
The
VoIP Network Senior Engineer
is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Kahala Nui's Voice over (VoIP) infrastructure, while ensuring high availability, reliability, and quality of voice communications across the community. The VoIP Network Senior Engineer will lead the modernization of Kahala Nui's telephony infrastructure, while also supporting day-to-day operations that include network and systems administration, VoIP administration, Push to Talk systems, R-Care, AV Media, and all other IT related duties and functions.
This position is 100% on-site. Remote or hybrid remote work is NOT available.
This position does not include relocation assistance.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years' experience in VoIP engineering, with at least 2 years focused on Microsoft Teams Phone
- Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, and VoIP call flow analysis
- Experience with enterprise-scale Teams Phone deployments and migrations
- Excellent trouble shooting, documentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
- Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, and firewalls)
- Experience with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP)
- Experience with STP, Ethernet, FDDI, UDLD
- Proof of annual tuberculosis clearance in accordance with state regulations.
