Responsibilities- Work on a team with other project engineers on the design of highways and roads, and waterfront and aviation infrastructure projects.
- Design alignments and profiles, geometric layouts, utilities and drainage infrastructure, and develop plans, specifications and construction estimates.
- Aid with the creation of engineering calculations and technical reports.
- Provide assistance with engineering services during construction, including responding to requests for information, reviewing material submittals, and performing construction inspections.
- Work independently on small tasks and assist senior engineers on larger, more complex projects.
- Support the development of new and existing Transportation clients in Hawaii and the Pacific Region.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Civil Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm preferred, but not required.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D preferred, but not required.
- Preference given to local candidates.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field.
