Conditions:
For placement in lecturer pool for Fall 2025, Spring 2026 and/or Summer 2026. Positions are part time, temporary and non-tenurable; and contingent upon course offerings and sufficient enrollment, position clearance and availability of funds.
- Teach various Asian Studies courses at the undergraduate level.
- Design the syllabus that meets College of Arts, Languages and Letters (CALL) and the Department of Asian Studies course requirements, conducing all scheduled classes, grading and maintaining office hours for each course taught.
- M.A. in Asian Studies or Arts & Sciences, Public Administration or Business Administration with a concentration in Asian Studies.
- Demonstrated ability to teach interdisciplinary undergraduate courses.
- Ph.D. in hand or current enrollment in a Ph.D. program in Arts & Sciences, Public Administration or Business Administration with a concentration in Asian Studies.
- Current or recent research in Asia
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural setting.
- Experience in teaching online courses.
