Conditions:

For placement in lecturer pool for Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026. Mainly part‑time employment, contingent on approval to fill, course offerings (ranging from 3 to 12 credits), position clearance, availability of funds, and sufficient enrollment. Appointments offered on a semester basis.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Teach first-year, second-year and third-year German classes. Teaching load to be determined (between 1 and 4 courses per semester).
Minimum Qualifications
  • M.A. or equivalent degree in German; high level proficiency in German and English; experience teaching German at the college or university level; excellent student evaluations.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Evidence of student‑oriented and innovative instruction.
