Applicants seeking short‑term or part‑time work with the University Hawaiʻi may apply for Casual Hire positions, which include administrative, professional, and technical (APT) or instructional‑type positions. Because of the temporary nature of these appointments, Casual Hire employees are not eligible for most benefits as provided to regular BOR and Civil Service employees such as paid leave and holidays. Casual Hire appointments may last for up to 89 days for full‑time employees, and up to 1 calendar year for part‑time employees.

• Teach assigned course(s) in the Executive MBA programs.
• Prepare course syllabi and teach scheduled classes.
• Meet program deadlines to obtain course materials and submit grades.
• Maintain office hours and manage student progress and academic questions.
• As needed, work with multimedia presentation, distance education instruction, and teaching at other‑campus sites.
• Work under supervision of the program's Faculty Director.

• Master's degree in relevant discipline for lecturers in the Executive MBA programs such as but not limited to Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to teach graduate level courses.
