We are seeking a board-certified General Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment in Hawaii starting Feb 21, 2026. This 12-day opportunity offers exclusive weekend call coverage with 24/7 shifts, morning rounding, and no clinic duties. Ideal for experienced surgeons seeking a focused on-call schedule in a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24/7 general surgery coverage during scheduled weekends
• Perform morning rounds on patients
• Respond to surgical consults and emergencies as required
• No clinic duties required

Additional Information

• Board certification in General Surgery required
• Must possess an active Hawaii medical license
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Candidates must be fully credentialed (allow for a 4-month credentialing process)
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
