Dental Billing Specialist

Position: Dental Billing Specialist
Location: Honolulu, HI (Onsite with Parking Provided)
Pay: $23/hour + Weekly Pay!
Experience:
2 years of FQHC experience. Experience in dental billing and/or follow-up with all types of insurance carriers, including Medicare and Medicaid.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Type: Full-time;
Temp to Perm

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm

• Organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements.
• Monitor important and complex projects concurrently.
• Respond to inquiries or complaints from patients and/or insurance carriers.
• Clean up previously submitted files.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Candidates must be able to commute to Honolulu, HI.
• Must have sufficient experience in dental billing and the Dentrix Enterprise system.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Effective oral and written skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience with Athena EHR and Dental Practice management systems.
• Understanding of the QS1, AR, and PMS systems is preferred.
