Position: Call Center Agent
Location: Honolulu, HI (100% Remote upon successful completion of training program - approx. 4 weeks)
Pay: $17 to $20/hour
Experience: At least one year of related experience in a high-volume call center environment preferred.
Education: High School Diploma required.
Type: Part-time;
Contract
Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 8:00am to 1:00pm or 10:00am to 3:00pm and Thursday, 9:00am to 1:00pm or 10:00am to 2:00pm
Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Call Center Agent to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Answer and manage high volumes of inbound and outbound calls.
- Actively listen to callers and determine appropriate resolutions.
- Accurately document inquiries and interactions in an internal database.
- Research complex issues using internal and external resources.
- Provide timely, accurate information and refer callers as needed.
- De-escalate challenging calls and strive for first-call resolution.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Meet or exceed established KPIs for accuracy and efficiency.
Position Requirements:
- Cannot hold an active Hawaii Professional & Vocational License (PVL).
- Typing speed of at least 60 WPM with high accuracy.
- Strong verbal communication and professional phone presence.
- Active listening and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate notes.
- Ability to work independently and remain self‑disciplined.
- Stable work history with consistent employment.
