KGMB (CBS), KHNL (NBC), and K5 are seeking a Producer. Hawaii News Now is the state's dominant multimedia news organization. This person must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, with good organizational skills and must be able to deliver energetic newscasts and engaging stories on all platforms under tight, pressure-packed deadlines.

This includes a leading presence on Facebook, Twitter, , as well as Instagram.

• The successful candidate will also produce a variety of newscasts.
• We are looking for candidates with experience as a line producer in a competitive news market, including working with anchors, LIVE reporters, and directors.
• Candidates must be great writers and communicators, and should have natural leadership skills.
• Candidates must be able to sift through complicated issues and provide clarity to viewers and web users.
• Newscasts are fast-paced, “Happening Now” newscasts, filled with LIVE reports and breaking news from anywhere.
• Adjusting to situations is key, and thinking uniquely to break events will continue to move this newscast forward.
• Multi-tasking is key as you will be juggling many things  successful candidate will be required to post stories to the station website and all social media platforms.

• Experience with ENPS and Edius editing is a plus.
• Experience producing special reports and breaking news will put a candidate ahead of others.
• A college degree in journalism or related experience is required.
• Must be able to work extra hours, holidays, etc.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
