Superintendent; Commercial Construction

Established Commercial Construction Firm seeks to add an experienced Superintendent. Salary $90,000 - $140,000 per year.

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee all aspects of the construction process, from planning to completion. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing large scale construction projects, with a keen eye for quality control and an in-depth understanding of construction planning, materials management, and building codes. Markets include private/commercial for medical, education and hospitality. The superintendent will report to the Project Manager and work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle managing construction activities and operational functions.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet high quality standards.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources in collaboration with project managers.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
• Implement quality control programs, identify issues or delays, and take corrective action as necessary.
• Supervise and provide guidance to the construction team, including subcontractors and laborers.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
• Manage construction materials, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and maintenance.
• Resolve problems due to inclement weather, emergencies, or other issues that may cause delays.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction management or supervisory role.
• Proven experience with budgeting, quality control, planning, materials management, and building codes.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and manage teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver s license.
