As a Retirement Support Specialist, you’ll support 401(k) plan administration by processing transactions accurately, responding to client inquiries promptly, and maintaining compliance standards. This role requires precision, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Process 401(k) transactions including deferral changes, contributions, distributions, and loans with high accuracy
- Respond to client and employee inquiries and resolve cases within SLA
- Maintain complete, timely case documentation, and ensure data integrity
- Audit reports, review billing, and identify discrepancies to support compliance
- Assist with 401(k) nondiscrimination (NDT) testing and retirement-related projects
- Manage inbound calls while maintaining strong service levels
You’re detail-obsessed, tech-savvy, and thrive on structure, accuracy, and problem-solving. You bring experience in customer service or administrative operations and are confident juggling multiple priorities without compromising on quality. You communicate clearly, contribute positively to a team environment, and take initiative to get things done.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing or administrative support role
- Proven ability to maintain accuracy under pressure and manage shifting deadlines
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Google Applications, and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to track, follow up, and deliver on multiple tasks
- Clear communicator with a team-first mindset and strong follow-through
