Staff Assistant

Congressman Ed Case is seeking a Staff Assistant for his Honolulu district office. This role supports a variety of administrative functions and acts as a liaison to federal, state, and local agencies, as well as community organizations, on constituent requests. The Staff Assistant helps ensure constituents receive timely assistance and maintains smooth office operations.

• Greet visitors and answer incoming calls and emails.
• Respond to constituent requests for general information, tours, and other inquiries.
• Act as a liaison between constituents and government agencies or community organizations.
• Perform administrative duties to support the day-to-day operations of the district office.
• Work independently and collaboratively under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
• Make decisions and solve problems efficiently, maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong initiative, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Preference for candidates with Hawaii community background or prior related work experience.
• Flexibility to work unpredictable hours as needed.

Rate: $22–$28/hour
