Tax Supervisor

We are working with a well-established midsize public accounting firm that is looking to add a Tax Supervisor to their growing team in Honolulu.

This is a hybrid position with a few days in the office in Honolulu, HI.

• Review complex federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, partnerships, trusts, and estates
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to a wide range of local clients
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing training and review feedback
• Research tax issues and stay up to date with changes in tax legislation
• Communicate with clients on tax-related matters and manage client relationships
• Collaborate with partners and managers to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met

• Minimum 4-6+ years of recent experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
• CPA license or in progress
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance for various entities (individual, corporate, S-corp, partnership, trust, LLC)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff is preferred
• Proficiency in tax and accounting software
