Our client, a leading organization in the food service industry, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk III to join their team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk III, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and problem‑solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk III
Location: Honolulu, HI
Pay Range: $23.02
Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
Process customer payments, generate invoices, and apply payments to open account balances accurately.
Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies in payments and invoices.
Assist with collection activities for past‑due accounts, including contacting customers and documenting communications.
Conduct data quality assurance tasks within AR processes to ensure accuracy and identify process improvement opportunities.
Generate AR reports, maintain organized records, and support internal and external audits as needed.
What's Needed?
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in financial data processing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and customers.
Problem‑solving and analytical skills to identify root causes and propose solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite; experience with accounting/ERP systems such as Workday is preferred.
Proficiency with 10‑key data entry for efficient financial processing.
