We’re looking for a detail-oriented, methodical accountant who values accuracy, consistency, and professional excellence. You’ll be responsible for creating financial records, reconciling accounts, generating reports, and ensuring compliance—helping the company make informed, confident decisions.

What You’ll Do
  • Record financial transactions accurately, including income, expenses, invoices, and payments.
  • Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Track accounts payable and receivable, manage overdue accounts, and support strong vendor and client relationships.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Monitor budgets, identify variances, and provide thoughtful recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; assist with audits.
  • Collaborate with company leadership to provide reliable financial insights.
  • Support tax preparation and ensure timely filings.

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and quickly spot discrepancies.
  • Experience with Quick Books Online and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Methodical, disciplined, and comfortable working independently.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Certification as a bookkeeper or accounting technician.
  • 5+ years of related experience, especially in multi-account or construction settings.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
