Production Engineer – Fast-Growing Manufacturing Business (Honiton)
A rapidly expanding manufacturer is seeking a hands‑on Production Engineer to join their high‑performing team at their modern facility in Honiton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced, forward‑thinking environment and wants to play a key role in supporting the continued growth of a market‑leading brand.
The RoleThe Production Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and optimising production equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
Key duties include:
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimise downtime.
- Driving process improvements and engineering projects across production lines.
- Supporting new product introductions and ensuring technical standards are met.
- Implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programmes.
- Upholding strict Health & Safety and quality requirements.
- Holds an engineering background (mechanical or electrical bias).
- Experience in food, pharma, or FMCG manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach and strong problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies would be beneficial.

Location: Honiton
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience £45,000-£55,000
Hours: Full-time, permanent
