Training Notice: Candidates must be available for several months of mandatory training at the home office in Hondo, TX before transitioning to their permanent district location.

Position: We are seeking one qualified individual to join our team as either a Meter Technician I or a Senior Meter Technician. This position is responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of the Cooperative's electric meters to ensure system accuracy and reliability.

• Meter Technician I: Best for those with a High School Diploma and 2+ years of utility experience looking to develop technical skills in meter calibration and wiring.
• Senior Meter Technician: Best for those with 6+ years of experience or technical schooling. Requires advanced knowledge of revenue/billing meters, system programming, and the ability to mentor other technicians.

• Strong basic math and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring layouts.
• Valid Texas Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Ability to perform heavy‑level physical work and travel within our 17‑county territory.
• Willingness to work overtime during emergencies.
