• Member Engagement:
  Act as the face of the Cooperative, assisting members via phone, email, and in person with a professional and helpful demeanor.
• Account Management:
  Process service requests (connections, disconnects, meter changes) and maintain accurate digital records and Electric Service Agreements.
• Financial Transactions:
  Securely process payments, manage and balance cash drawers, and prepare daily deposits.
• Operational Support:
  Support administrative tasks including report compilation, easement recording, and inventory management.
• Promotion:
  Educate members on available services, promotional programs, and account options.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED required (Associate’s degree preferred).
• Experience:
  
  2+ years in an office or customer service environment (or 2 years of college in lieu of experience).
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and on a 10‑key; experience with iVUE or CIS systems is a major plus.
• Soft Skills:
  
  Excellent communication (especially under difficult circumstances), ability to prioritize changing workloads, and a strong team‑player mindset.
• Language:
  Bilingual skills are highly preferred.

• Safety & Training:
  Must maintain annual certifications in First‑Aid, CPR, and Fire Extinguisher safety (training provided).
• Mobility:
  Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and be willing to travel within our 17‑county service territory as needed.
• Flexibility:
  Ability to work overtime during emergency conditions or as the job warrants.

Salary: $26.22 per hour
