Learn more:  As an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents.

You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership. • Provide customer service to clients, patients, donors, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Help to monitor access to the healthcare facility, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor check-in and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and/or facility alarms, and report information per location procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, and document findings as required.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, participate in shift briefings, and communicate with location personnel and emergency services as needed to support security-related operations.

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
