Position OverviewAs an Operations Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring project teams are aligned and working toward defined deliverables within established timelines and budgets. This role supports projects spanning business, operations, and technical domains and requires experience managing initiatives using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
You will lead planning, execution, tracking, and reporting activities while coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). This role emphasizes accountability, clear communication, and data‑driven decision‑making to ensure successful project outcomes.
Essential Functions- Assist with strategic alignment of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support project activities as needed
- Create and maintain project plans and track progress using JIRA and other project management tools
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date project documentation within centralized repositories
- Facilitate a working environment driven by accountability, ownership, and collaboration
- Coordinate project initiatives to measure effectiveness, outcomes, and realized benefits
- Develop project plans from external Statements of Work (SOWs) and internal task breakdowns
- Ensure project scope, business case, objectives, and success metrics are clearly defined, understood, measured, and reported
- Define KPIs to measure resource capacity, project valuation, cost, risk, status, and performance
- Understand and manage interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
- Ensure cross‑functional team leaders have a clear understanding of deliverables, timelines, and budgets
- Provide accurate, timely, and meaningful project status reporting to stakeholders
- Create, maintain, and improve standardized project management templates
- Conduct project postmortems, retrospectives, and continuous improvement sessions
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures
- Communicate consistently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain adherence to company‑wide policies and procedures
- Support special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned
