Elite Rehabilitation and Care Center in Vestavia Hills is home to Independent residents as well as seniors needing short term or long-term nursing care. The leader of the team has been with the community over 11 years. As an RN Administrator, she brings her skill and passion to be an advocate for both residents and her staff to ensure a caring and rewarding environment.

• Consult with registered dietician in planning, organizing,developing, and directing the overall operation of the dietary department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations;
  
  Assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis;
  Assure that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner;
  
  Review therapeutic and regular diet plans and menus to assure they are in compliance with the physician’s orders;
  
  Assist in recruitment, interviewing, and selection of dietary personnel;
  Schedule personnel to meet the daily needs of the dietary department;
  
  Monitor dietary service personnel to assure that established safety precautions are being followed in the use of equipment and supplies;
  Forecast budgetary needs of the department;
  Maintainwrittendietary recordsof expenditures;
  Monitor dietary service to assure that all resident’s dietary needs are being met.
