Store/Tienda #31 - 831 NE 8 St, Homestead, 33030 - Shift/Turno Part-Time/Medio Tiempo - (Afternoon/Por la tarde) The duties and responsibilities of the position are to be carried out in a manner that is consistent with the goals, values and operating principles of Sedano’s Supermarkets, and in conformity with all laws and regulations governing the company. Every employee is to follow the policies and procedures of his/her department as well as those of the company to ensure smooth operations.

Every employee, regardless of job title, is responsible for ensuring a safe environment throughout the store. This includes, but is not limited to immediately securing an area when a hazardous situation occurs, promptly informing the store manager of the situation, and/or promptly taking action to remove the hazardous condition. Every employee must also maintain a friendly attitude, wear the proper uniform or dress code, keep the store stocked and organized, and provide excellent customer service on a regular basis.

This position serves as a stock clerk primarily for the Frozen Food and Dairy Department stocking the coolers and displays with frozen food and dairy merchandise in the store. • Daily inspection of the frozen food and dairy cases ensuring proper temperatures are maintained
• Ensure inventory is sufficiently stocked and displayed
• Ensure proper signage is on merchandise; work with signage personnel when needed
• Check expiration dates of merchandise, removing expired products from display
• Assist with the unloading of delivery trucks
• Verify invoices of merchandise delivered
• Operate department equipment and tools
• Retrieve, load and unload products and merchandise onto cart to move from back room to displays
• Provide continuous attention to customer needs; greet, assist and thank customers in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner
• Keep work area clean, orderly, and free from safety hazards
• Promptly address maintenance and safety issues with store or department manager
• Report all accidents promptly to store or department manager
• Punctuality and good attendance in compliance with company policies; ensure work responsibilities are covered during foreseeable absences
• Performs other work-related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position

• Inspección diaria de los alimentos congelados y los productos lácteos asegurando temperaturas adecuadas
• Asegurar que el inventario esté lo suficientemente
• Asegurar que la señalización sea correcta en la mercancía;
  Trabajar con el personal de señalización cuando sea necesario
• Comprobar las fechas de caducidad de la mercancía, eliminar los productos expirados de la pantalla
• Ayudar con la descarga de camiones de reparto
• Verificar las facturas de la mercancía entregada
• Operar equipos y herramientas del departamento
• Recuperar, cargar y descargar productos y mercancías en el carro para moverse de la habitación de atrás a la exhibición
• Prestar atención continua a las necesidades de los clientes;
  Saludar, ayudar y agradecer a los clientes de una manera rápida, cortés y amable
• Mantenga el área de trabajo limpia, ordenada y libre de peligros de seguridad
• Responde rápidamente a las cuestiones de mantenimiento y seguridad
• Reportar todos los accidentes de inmediato según los procedimientos de la empresa
