The Store Manager will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse and inventory control functions, ensuring accurate handling, storage, and distribution of materials, parts, and finished goods. This role is responsible for supervising store personnel, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining efficient workflows to support HVAC manufacturing and customer order fulfillment. The successful candidate will enforce compliance with safety and quality standards while driving efficiency, accuracy, and accountability in warehouse operations.
KeyDuties/Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse/store activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure accurate inventory management, including cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and reporting.
- Oversee the proper storage of raw materials, spare parts, and finished goods in line with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to meet material and delivery requirements.
- Train, guide, and evaluate store/warehouse staff, fostering teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure safe, efficient operations.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including stock movement records, reports, and audit compliance.
- Implement and enforce company policies, safety regulations, and housekeeping standards within the warehouse.
- Support process improvements in material handling, inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency.
- Handle escalated issues related to shortages, damages, or delays, providing timely resolutions.
- Take on any other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in warehouse/store supervision, preferably in manufacturing or HVAC industries.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, material handling, and warehouse operations.
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) required.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations for warehouse environments.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
