Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Lab Technician to support laboratory operations by preparing, testing, and analyzing samples in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on laboratory experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, accuracy, and data integrity.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine laboratory testing on samples following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Prepare, label, and handle samples for analysis while maintaining proper chain of custody
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Accurately document test results, observations, and data in laboratory information systems (LIMS) or logs
- Conduct quality control checks and report any deviations or irregular results
- Assist with calibration, cleaning, and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Follow laboratory safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
- Dispose of laboratory waste in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines
- Support senior lab staff with special projects, validations, or method development as needed
$18 - $24 an hour
