Starting Salary

Pay is negotiable based on experience.

In addition to your hourly wages, you will be paid a relocation bonus of BR0,000.00, payable in two (2) equal installments:

• BR0,000 payable on the pay date that corresponds with the pay period after the first full week of work.
• BR0,000 payable upon successful completion of six (6) months of employment.
• BR0,000.00 is for out of state relocation
• BR5,000.00 is for in-state relocation

Agency Placement Fee
: 15% for offers over   an hour/17% for offers  
-BR an hour/20% for anything under   an hour

Utilizes the nursing process to plan and provide total, direct patient care to patients on the nursing unit according to established standards and practices.

NATURE AND SCOPE:

This position reports directly to the Chief Nursing Offices (CNO).
The Unit Based Educator (UBE) & Nurse Planner will plan, implement and evaluate activities involved in providing continuing education to hospital clinical staff and medical staff. The UBE will ensure that applicable trainings meet regulations required by Montana Nurses Association and will assist in the application for CNE accreditation when required.

POSITION PURPOSE:

To assist education department in planning and implementing programs to assess and meet South Peninsula Hospital (SPH) clinical staff and medical staff educational needs. To function as a Nurse Planner in establishing continuing nursing education activities in collaboration with Primary Nurse Planner, and maintain instructor status for American Heart Association courses in Basic Life Support (BLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 18 months of hire.

• One- or two-years' experience. Willing to train.

KNOWLEDGE AND

EXPERIENCE:

• Must have an interest in learning and education. Experience in planning, implementation or analysis of evaluations in the field of education is preferred.
• A minimum of two years general medical-surgical nursing experience required.
• Prior experience organizing educational offerings is preferred
