** Security Officer - Mobile Patrol

** Homer Glen, IL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech and media location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and document observations and/or concerns. You will support access control, respond to requests, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct guests to appropriate check-in processes.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including gathering initial details, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as needed, and assisting with scene control.

+ Complete timely reports such as shift activity logs, incident documentation, and maintenance or hazard observations, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

* + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
