School 1:1 Licensed Practical Nurse

• Qualifications:
  
  You will need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a current Illinois LPN License
• Preference is one year school based experience and knowledge of working with pediatrics

Role Overview:

The School Based Nurse (LPN) position involves providing dedicated 1:1 care to student during transport to and from afternoon classes. The role focuses on essential nursing tasks such as monitoring/addressing seizures, positioning, assistance with classroom tasks, ensuring the student's health and safety during transportation.

  approximately 8am - 230pm daily; M-F (includes bus to and from school accompanying student)

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities would include monitoring/addressing seizures, positioning, assistance with classroom tasks, changing/diapering, feeding female three year old student.
• Provide 1:1 nursing care to a pre-K student.
• Ensure safety during bus rides to and from school.
