Radius Connect 24 is a leading provider of personal alarm care and support services, supporting over 20,000 households to live independently with 24/7 support. We support people of any age who are concerned about personal well-being or home safety, or who may feel anxious about managing on their own. Our service model is client-centred and includes an alarm unit and pendant to enable clients to call for help.
Additional sensors can be installed to automatically alert potential incidents, providing reassurance to clients and their support networks.
We are expanding our current team of 30+ call advisors based in Holywood, County Down.
What the role is likeThis is a frontline telephone-based role with a real social purpose. The Call Advisor is a central point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive timely, professional assistance. You will offer reassurance and determine an appropriate response, connecting clients to responders or emergency services when necessary. You will handle incoming alarm calls and may also deliver outbound health and wellbeing calls to support people who may be isolated in our communities.
Whatyou need to apply
The role requires excellent communication skills to engage with clients, demonstrate empathy, build rapport, and keep the client at the centre of the service. You should be able to convey trust and confidence in the service. On the application form, candidates are asked to detail how they meet the essential criteria.
- Good general level of education, including GCSEs (minimum Grade
C) or equivalent qualification, in English and Maths. - Minimum of 6 months relevant experience providing frontline customer service.
- IT literacy with substantial practical experience using Microsoft Office or an equivalent suite of office software.
If shortlisted for interview, applicants will be asked to provide examples of the key competencies for success in the role.
HoursWe have immediate vacancies for Call Advisors for day shifts and night shifts.
- Day Shifts From . Shift patterns include 2 days on, 4 rest days (11.5 hour days, 26.83 hours average per week) and 2 days on, 6 rest days (11.5 hour days, 20.13 hours average per week).
- Night shifts: with a pattern of 3 nights on, 3 nights off (42 hours average).
£27,254 (SP9) to £30,034 (SP15) per annum, pro rata based on a standard 37-hour week. The starting salary for the post is £27,254 per annum, pro rata.
