Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Engineer (1 Mechanical, 1 Electrical)

Overview

We are seeking one Mechanical Engineer and one Electrical Engineer to join a growing site operating within a niche manufacturing industry, producing bespoke knitted wire machinery designed specifically for customers.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business offering strong internal training and progression.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Engineer

Maintenance and repair of chains, belts, and bearings

Fault finding and repair on hydraulic systems

Planned and reactive maintenance on bespoke production machinery

Electrical Engineer

Fault finding on automation machinery

PLC fault finding and diagnostics

Working with inverters / drives

Experience with HMIs (preferred)

Electrical maintenance on bespoke production equipment

Experience,

Skills & Qualifications

Background in aerospace, automotive, or metal manufacturing

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience with in an industrial/manufacturing environment

Junior engineers with the right qualifications may also be considered

Training & Development

Extensive training provided due to the niche nature of the machinery

Package & Benefits

Salary:
Up to £43,000

Shift Pattern: 3 Shift Pattern

6:00-14:00

14:00-22:00

22:00-06:00

Overtime: 1.5x weekdays, 2x Sundays

Pension:
Up to 6% employer contribution

Life Assurance: 4x salary

Holidays: 21 days + 8 bank holidays
