Operates warehouse delivery vehicles (10,000 lb to 26,000 lbs) in accordance with the Massachusetts State Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) and public safety laws;
Conducts and documents daily vehicle safety inspections for warehouse fleet vehicles as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR 3.96.11 & 396.13). Reports any vehicle irregularities to the BH Manager of Warehouse Services for immediate resolution.;
Transports and delivers routine and hazardous materials safely and effectively within the FMCRS regulation (CFR title 49 Transportation, parts 100 to 177) pertaining to shipments of hazardous materials up to but less than 1,000 pounds.;
Loads vehicle cargo box (26 ft), distributing weight evenly and maximizing cubic space for a safe and efficient delivery process. Operates fully-loaded warehouse vehicles in a safe and effective manner to all delivery points within the BH system according to established delivery schedules.;
Maintains vehicles and work area (loading docks) in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with facility and departmental policies and guidelines
