Location: Holyoke, MA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

About the RoleThis role supports a high-priority application enhancement and modernization initiative. The Java Developer will work closely with development teams and business stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Develop and enhance applications using Java 17/21 and Spring MVC
- Build and maintain front-end components using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and AJAX
- Work with Oracle databases to design, query, and maintain data structures
- Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Mockito
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine technical requirements
- Support application upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Strong proficiency in Java 17/21
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring MVC
- Experience working with Oracle databases
- Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and AJAX
- Experience writing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito
Estimated hourly range: $55–$60/hr (W-2)
Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
