Lifepoint Behavioral Health is seeking a passionate, creative, and goal-oriented Behavioral Health Intake Clinician - RN to join the team at Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital. As a Behavioral Health Intake Clinician – Registered Nurse / RN, you will:

• Work with internal and external customers to identify patients suitable for admission to the Behavioral Health Unit.
• Conduct crisis assessments as part of your essential job functions.
• Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicate changes in patient’s clinical condition with physicians, nursing supervisors/managers, and the Director of Intake and Admission.

As a Behavioral Health Intake Clinician – Registered Nurse / RN, you will have:

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse / RN.
• BCLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a psychiatric setting.
• Experience in crisis counseling and evaluations preferred.

Salary range: $42 - $62 per hour. Compensation may vary based on circumstances.
