As a
Nursing Supervisor
for Mira Vista in
Holyoke, Massachusetts
you’ll bring your experience and knowledge as a registered nurse (RN) where your voice matters. A Nursing Supervisor, who is a registered nurse (RN), plays an integral leadership role in our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will act as an interface between our team members, our patients, and their families, and make decisions that impact the lives of our team, our patients, and our community.

In exchange, we will care for you, as much as you care for our patients.

As the Nursing Supervisor, you will have administrative responsibility for managing staff, overseeing patient care, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. You will be a liaison between staff, patients, and the patients’ families, as well as between staff and physicians. You will be responsible for coverage of the Nursing Department, other hospital departments, and the hospital in general during designated shifts.

We offer competitive compensation based on nursing experience including a $10.00 night shift differential. Successful candidates will have the following:

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts, BSN preferred
• Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance abuse treatment modalities
• Understanding of the Trauma-Informed Recovery model of care
• Valid CPR certification
• Previous experience in psychiatric or substance inpatient, restraint reduction de-escalation, and crisis intervention is preferred

Mira Vista Behavioral Health Center is a new healthcare provider created to bring much needed psychiatric and substance use disorder services to Western Massachusetts. We opened in April 2021 and are rapidly growing our treatment programs to meet the needs of the Pioneer Valley.
