Assistant Director Of Nursing

Overview

Regal Care at Holyoke is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and management, with a commitment to providing high-quality care to our residents.

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Department.
• Ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff.
• Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and manage nursing care plans and assessments.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
• Act as a liaison between nursing staff, residents, and their families.
• Oversee the maintenance of accurate and complete resident records.

• Must have an active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to nursing and long-term care.
