District General Manager, Food Services

We’re recruiting a General Manager of Food Services to lead a district-wide education dining program in Holyoke, MA.This is a high-impact leadership role focused on delivering nutritious meals, operational excellence, and strong team engagement within a mission-driven school environment.

- 3+ years of food service management experience within K-12
- 4+ years in school nutrition or large-scale food service operations
- USDA experience a MUST
- Pro when it comes to dealing with client relations
- Solid culinary production and food safety knowledge
- Associate’s degree or higher in food and nutrition, food service management, culinary arts, dietetics, business, or a related field
- Oversee daily food service operations across multiple school sites
- Lead, coach, and develop management and frontline teams
- Ensure high standards in food quality, safety, and service
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
- Build strong relationships with school leaders and community partners
