Director of Clinical Services – Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

, you will join our team to deliver superior patient care that exceeds industry standards and patient expectations.

The Director of Clinical Services oversees all clinical treatment programming for patients receiving psychiatric and substance abuse services across inpatient settings. This role provides leadership and supervision to the therapist team, oversight of individual and group counseling services, and the development of therapeutic modalities. You will ensure accurate and compliant clinical documentation and guide effective discharge planning for optimal patient transitions.

This position actively participates in regulatory surveys, leads performance improvement initiatives, collaborates with the hospital s leadership team, and supports staff through ongoing evaluation, coaching, and adherence to clinical standards. The Director plays a key role in maintaining treatment integrity, patient engagement, and overall clinical excellence across the hospital s behavioral health programs.

Applicants should have:

• Master s degree from an accredited school of social work is required.
• A current unencumbered clinical social work license (LCSW) is required.
• In the absence of LCSW credentials, qualification for this position is contingent on the Hospital employing another LCSW per CMS  Condition of Participation guidelines.
• CPR certification and Handle with Care within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
• Previous inpatient psychiatric healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles required.
• Previous management experience at the Director level preferred.
