Salary Range: $46,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Operate various welding equipment (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) to join metal components.
  • Inspect finished welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to specifications.
  • Perform grinding, deburring, and finishing operations on welded parts.
  • Maintain welding equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to design.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Proven experience as a Welder in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Skill in inspecting welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
  • AWS certification (e.g., D1.1) or equivalent is a strong asset.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with advanced or specialized welding processes (e.g., TIG on exotic metals, robotic welding)
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering blueprints and weld symbols
  • Basic fabrication skills, including fitting, grinding, and plasma cutting
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and visual inspection techniques for welds
