Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Operate various welding equipment (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) to join metal components.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to specifications.
- Perform grinding, deburring, and finishing operations on welded parts.
- Maintain welding equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to design.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Proven experience as a Welder in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Skill in inspecting welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
- AWS certification (e.g., D1.1) or equivalent is a strong asset.
- Experience with advanced or specialized welding processes (e.g., TIG on exotic metals, robotic welding)
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering blueprints and weld symbols
- Basic fabrication skills, including fitting, grinding, and plasma cutting
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and visual inspection techniques for welds
