In this role, you'll manage the mortgage process from origination through approval, working directly with borrowers while applying your expertise to review and approve your own loan files. • Work directly with customers to guide them through the mortgage loan process
• Underwrite your own loans and help review loans underwritten by your teammates
• Build relationships with realtors, builders, and other partners in the community
• Manage your own loan portfolio-including handling delinquencies when needed
• Stay on top of mortgage programs including secondary market, USDA, VA, and construction loans
• Actively participate in business development and community engagement opportunities
• Collaborate with our Mortgage Processing Team to make the loan experience smooth and efficient
• Other job duties as required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• At least 1 year of lending experience
• Comfortable working independently while also being a team player
• Great communication skills, attention to detail, and a drive to learn and grow
• Bonus points if you've worked with underwriting software
