Serves as the Operations Manager for Nursing Administration. Works in collaboration with Nursing Leadership Teams and other ancillary departments to optimize patient care delivery.
Responsibilities- Responsible for leadership, direct supervision and utilization of Nursing Labor, establishment and oversight of associated metrics, financial incentive program management and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Responsible for day‑to‑day operations of the department including support staff utilization, informatics, technology and education.
- Leads nursing recruitment and retention initiatives for all nursing labor (Registered Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, Patient Observers/Sitters).
- Collaborates with unit managers to ensure complete staffing assignments, reviews and updates nursing policies and procedures related to staff management in accordance with professional nursing guidelines and standards.
- Responsible for leadership and direct oversight of various clinical teams.
- Defines qualifications, competence and performance expectations.
- Responsible for analyzing operational metrics, implementing action plans and monitoring results.
- Adheres to HMH's organizational and managerial competencies and standards of behavior.
- Monitors standards of practice to ensure compliance with codes of internal and external regulatory and accrediting agencies including Joint Commission, NJS and federal codes (e.g., DOH, OSHA).
- Ensures adherence to legal requirements relating to risk management, patient bill of rights and other regulatory agencies.
- Develops, implements and monitors annual labor unit budget(s).
- Responsible for evaluation of each employee's performance and providing appropriate guidance and feedback.
- Assists the Nursing Leadership and the Chief Nursing Officer in developing, implementing and leading performance improvement activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Proficient computer skills including Google Suite and Microsoft Office platforms. - Education,
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
1. Minimum 5 years of hospital‑based acute care nursing experience.
2. Master of Science in Nursing.
3. Maintains American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). - Licenses and Certifications
Required:
1. Current valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license.
2. Maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support HCP Certification (BLS). 3. Maintains American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
In addition to our compensation for full‑time and part‑time (20+ hours per week) job positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits. Minimum rate of $ annually.
